Because I just started this journal I have some catching up to do . Let me tell you a bit more about my shoot with Zippa last week (for those of you that don’t know what I’m talking about visit Zippa’s website).

Well, me, Dainora the MUA and Floor the photographer, shot for two whole days the 19th and 20th of March. I had to get up at 6 AM just to be on time in The Hague where we shot most of the film. Lately I’m starting to get up earlier and earlier but 6 was a bit too much LOL. Anyway, I thought it was going to be warm and sunny so I dressed light. Well, I can tell you now that at 6 AM it’s definitely NOT warm and sunny!!!! So I was freezing my butt off before I even got there. I arrived between 8.30 and 9 AM which was what we agreed upon so no worries. Thank God for warm coffee!

Dainora did my makeup, my hair, picked out the clothes and accessories etcetera untill around 11. Finally!!!! I got to do what I like best.. modeling

On Wednesday we shot at a tapas bar in the centre of The Hague (two settings there), then we went to a little playground and after that to the “krokus” (Dutch spring flowers) fields near The Hague Central Station. At that time it was about 6 PM and I could barely walk or talk because I was frozen to the bone!!! But hey, it’s worth it .

On Thursday kind of the same story. We shot the evening dress and bag and after that we went to Scheveningen (beach) for some more shots in the dunes. We finished at about 4 PM. Less cold this time.. I guess I was getting used to it (10 degrees Celsius, 55 Fahrenheit)…

This Monday I met with both Dainora and Floor again and also with Joost from Zippa. We discussed what pictures will be used for the Zippa website and other promotional material. Maybe the pics will be featured in magazines too!! Wouldn’t that be great?!

I don’t have any prints yet but as soon as I do they will be on my modeling site, www.wanderloost.com! Hope you like the polaroids we did for testing light and setting. Please keep in mind that these are not the finals! A preview of the final results can be found on your left site
